The Minstrel's Prayer by Cartel

And all these stupid silly songs Keep trying to catch your ear I'm trying desperately It's just so hard to persevere And even if you listened I never had much to say Cause it's the same old song I've written for the day Shelter me oh genius words Just give me strength Just to pen these things And give me peace to well her wings And oh, oh carry on all you minstrels of the world We will catch our ladies ear We will win for us the girl All these minstrels through the ages That is really all we are Simply singing for the girl That makes us try so very hard To craft the perfect limerick To wield unending woe To write such silly songs And the difference never know Shelter me oh genius words Just give me strength Just to pen these things And give me peace to well her wings And oh, oh carry on all you minstrels of the world We will catch our ladies ear We will win for us the girl And I'll hold on to the dream Of this beggar's plea and...

Traktor

I really want to make my own music and create remixes. In the movie, Pitch Perfect, the main girl in the movie does just that on this software called Traktor. I soon hope to purchase it and create my own music. Super excited :D

"Hey There Delilah" Lyrics

Hey there Delilah what's it like in New York City I'm a thousand miles away But girl tonight you look so pretty, yes you do Times Square can't shine as bright as you, I swear it's true Hey there Delilah don't you worry about the distance I'm right there if you get lonely give this song another listen Close your eyes, listen to my voice it's my disguise I'm by your side Oh it's what you do to me Oh it's what you do to me Oh it's what you do to me Oh it's what you do to me What you do to me Hey there Delilah, I know times are getting hard But just believe me girl, someday I'll pay the bills with this guitar We'll have it good, we'll have the life we knew we would My word is good Hey there Delilah, I've got so much left to say If every simple song I wrote to you Would take your breath away, I'd write it all Even more in love with me you'd fall, we'd have it all Oh it's what you do to me ...

Just Strumming

I play guitar in my spare time. I am currently learning "Hey There Delilah" by Plain White T's. It is a special song to me. I also really enjoy singing it. I was in choir my freshmen year for the first semester and I loved it. I always sing and you can find me randomly singing either a real song or a made-up tune. I'm also into writing lyrics. I haven't decided if I will post any of my own song lyrics. As for already published artist I might. Well, now you know.

Hey everyone! So yesterday I was looking for work and it turns out Starbucks is hiring. I'm thinking "Well, this could be great!" You know free coffee, its near my house, and it pays. As soon as I get more information  and a way of transportation this ginger could be in business! lol

Behind The Mind - The Beginning

This is just some info about me for those of you looking into my blog. First, this is my first blog ever.  I have never thought about creating one until I moved here to Hawaii. Obviously the move was hard; having basically moved my entire house...haha.  More difficult was having to leave friends behind.  I won't say specifics; we all have nicknames. I had a group of friends I would eat with at lunch everyday. Jujubee and Eclipse were two of my closest friends. In fact, you could say they are my best friends and we are still in contact till this day. We had going away parties, sleep overs, and just hanging together as much as possible before leaving. They are crazy funny like me and they are with me wherever I go. We keep in contact now on Skype, call/text, or Xbox (yes I play). I hope and plan on seeing them again soon someday. This is only my first behind the scenes, so look forward to more.

Adrenalin Rush - Wingsuit

Image
Well, for those of you who don't know I live in Hawaii. This is my first time ever being here. There are a lot of things I want to do before I leave this place.   One of the things I really want to do is jump off a high mountain in a squirrel suit , also called a wing suit. They have extra fabric under the arms and between the legs for more surface area for the air to catch onto which leads to flight or gliding. You can use these suits in sky diving (which is another thing I want to do), but I really want to use it in base jumping, which is jumping off a stationary object.
